Mrs. Wendy McCann
Sunday School Coordinator
Wendy graduated cum laude from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1999 with a BA degree in early childhood education.  She did her student teaching at Soho Parish School in central London, UK, where she gained a unique perspective of their educational system.  Upon graduation, she worked in a for-profit preschool near Annapolis, MD, teaching mainly full-day classes for 4-year-olds. In addition, she taught part time 3’s and team-taught part time 2-year-old classes.  She also had the unique experience of working on a federal facility for a non-profit NAEYC accredited program just outside of the D.C. Beltway.  Here she taught 3 and 4 year old mixed age group classes and was promoted to director and Chief Operating Officer.
 
Having taught in the preschool program here at First Presbyterian Church, Wendy now serves as Sunday School Coordinator.  She oversees all Sunday School programs and most programs involving children at our church.
 
Wendy is married to her husband, Terry, and they have 3 awesome kids: Jay, Alice and Adeline. She enjoys traveling and camping, gardening, and playing in the handbell choir at church.
