MEN’S BREAKFAST BIBLE STUDY - EVERY WEDNESDAY MORNING AT 7:30 A.M.: This Bible study has many wonderful ingredients: warm fellowship, good friendships, open discussions, great breakfasts AND the opportunity to grow in faith together. We gather every Wednesday morning at 7:30 a.m. at Eat n’ Park across from Westmoreland Mall. We are currently reading and discussing Paul's Letter to the Romans.
ADULT SUNDAY FORUM: KARL BARTH IN PLAIN ENGLISH, SUNDAY MORNINGS – 9:00 A.M.: PW LOUNGE - The Adult Sunday Forum returns after a lengthy hiatus to discuss the influence of particular theologians upon our faith and growth as Christians. This year we are reading and discussing a book about the great Swiss theologian, Karl Barth. Books will be provided for the class. We’ll gather every Sunday morning at 9:00 in the PW Lounge. This class is led by Dr. Ankrum.
THRU THE BIBLE CLASS MEETS ON THE LAST MONDAY OF THE MONTH - On the last Monday of every month, Dr. Ankrum holds a progressive Bible study working our way through the entire canon of scripture. We meet at 7 p.m. in the Assembly Room and discuss usually a whole book of the Bible each month. Please check the First News, First Fridays or your Sunday Bulletin for the biblical book for the coming month.
LAST TUESDAY BOOK CLUB, THE PW LOUNGE: Join us each final Tuesday of the month for some good discussion! We will read three short stories a month from the Oxford Book of American Short Stories. These stories are fairly easily obtained even without the book, but the procurement of the collection is a worthy investment. We meet at 7 p.m. in the PW Lounge of the CE Bldg. Please check the First News, First Fridays or your Sunday Bulletin for the selections for the coming month.
