Information Regarding Services At First Presbyterian Church ***Updated, Thursday, July 16, 2020***
In light of the updated state wide COVID gathering guidelines released on Wednesday, July 15, 2020, First Presbyterian Church of Greensburg will modify worship services in the following manner (all are subject to change):
Sunday morning worship for Sunday, July 19, 2020 will be available both as in-person worship and live simulcast. We strongly encourage that you join us via the option of simulcast, as guidelines suggest indoor gatherings be 25 or less. Click here to view the executive order from the Commonwealth's Governor and Secretary of Health.
For the foreseeable future, services after Sunday, July 19, 2020 will be available only via means of simulcast (no onsite worship).
Please continue to visit the church's website and FaceBook page for the most up to date information regarding worship updates during COVID.
We Request Face-Masks To Be Worn During The Following:
Movement Within The Sanctuary
Singing Of The Hymn
Entering The Sanctuary
Please enter the sanctuary and move immediately to take a seat in the pews that have been designated for occupation. You will find two bulletins in spots where it would be best for people to sit. Please maintain social distancing as you enter and as you sit.
Offerings And Prayer Requests
Please know that for your safety and for others, the deacons will not circulate through the sanctuary to take prayer requests or for the offering collection.
Please notify the pastor of any requests by a phone call to the office during the week.
Offerings can be left in the plate placed on a pedestal in the aisle of the sanctuary.
Exiting The Sanctuary
NOTABLE CHANGE - Please remain seated through the service including the final postlude. Then, the pastor will release the pews beginning with the balcony and moving from the back forward. Please exit from the nearest exit and please do not stand in the doorways, but allow others the space to leave our worship safely.
Unfortunately, for the foreseeable future, there will be no Coffee Hour service and no staffed nursery available.
