Music at First Presbyterian Church of Greensburg is an important part of our worship, fellowship, and community life. Our ensembles welcome people of many ages, backgrounds, and experience levels. Whether you are a lifelong musician, returning after time away, or trying something new, there is a place for you in the music ministry at FPC!

The Chancel Choir helps lead worship through hymns, responses, anthems, and musical events throughout the church year. This ensemble sings a wide variety of sacred choral music, from classic hymn arrangements and traditional anthems to newer works that reflect the life and witness of the church today.
The choir is open to adults and older youth who enjoy singing and want to be part of a warm, dedicated, and welcoming musical community. Prior choral experience is helpful, but not required.
Rehearsals are held weekly on Thursdays from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. in the Choir Room.

The Kirk Ringers handbell choir brings beauty, color, and energy to worship through the art of handbell ringing. This ensemble participates in worship throughout the program year and offers music for special seasons such as Advent, Christmas, Lent, Easter, and other festival Sundays.
Handbell ringing is a wonderful way to make music in community. No singing is required, and previous handbell experience is not necessary. New ringers can learn as they go in a supportive rehearsal environment.
Rehearsals are held weekly on Thursdays from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Handbell Room.

FPC Wind Ensemble is an instrumental ensemble for wind, brass, and percussion players who want to share their gifts in worship and congregational life. The group supports worship through preludes, postludes, hymn accompaniments, seasonal music, and special musical offerings throughout the church year.
This ensemble is open to experienced instrumentalists of a variety of ages. FPC Winds is a meaningful opportunity for musicians to continue playing while contributing to the worship and community life of the church.
FPC Wind Ensemble meets every other Thursday during the church program year from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary.

Children’s Music at FPC gives young people the opportunity to explore music through singing, movement, rhythm, instruments, and worship leadership. The program incorporates tubano drumming and percussion, choral singing, hand chimes, and Orff instrument instruction.
Children learn musical skills in a joyful, hands-on environment while also discovering how music helps us pray, praise, listen, and serve. This program is designed to nurture confidence, creativity, community, and faith through active music-making.
Children’s Music meets Sundays after worship from 11:00 to 11:45 a.m. in the Children's Music and Youth Chimes rooms.
